Ravair Ltd use Activated Carbon in most of their products and now introduce their new range of Vegan Activated Carbon Bamboo Health and Beauty Products including a new Bamboo Charcoal Air Purifying Bag. The air purifying bag removes odour, harmful pollutants and allergens by absorbing excess moisture to prevent growth of bacteria, mould and mildew.

Activated Carbon (often called activated charcoal) has long been considered as Anti-Viral and Anti- Bacterial. This helps to protect against Bacteria and Viruses.

What is "Activated Carbon"?
Activated carbon is usually a wood or coconut or walnut shell burn at very high temperature to create charcoal also called carbon that has a very high porous surface area that will adsorb into it and trap it, bacteria, viruses, toxins etc. The full process of the adsorbtion of these harmful, mainly living things, is explained in the "science page" on this website.

In short, Ravair use specially made Vegan Activated Bamboo Carbon to make their Health and Beauty Products, this Bamboo is not only biodegradable in a very short time but very fast growing. In many opinions this Bamboo is considered a weed and by using this wood Ravair Ltd are not using trees that take hundreds of years to grow.

How long will my delivery take?
 
We use either a courier service or postal service for sending out our orders. Ravair Ltd aim to have mainland UK orders delivered next day. Outside mainland UK we aim to deliver orders within 5 working days. Please allow extra time over public holidays. Orders must be finalised by 12pm on the day or delivery will be deferred until the next working day.
 
What if I haven’t received my order after the time specified?
 
If you haven’t received your order by the end of the next working day, after the allotted delivery day, please contact us either by email: sales@ravair.co.uk or by telephone on 01424 830700 and we will contact the delivery team used. Please note that not all orders sent by Royal Mail are recorded.
 
 
What if my item is faulty?
 
If you receive an item that is faulty and return it within 28 days, unused and in original packaging, we may be able to offer you a refund of the costs of your goods minus the costs of postage/packaging.
 
If the item becomes faulty after the 28 days but before 12 months from the date of purchase (1 year warranty given with all electrical products), we will arrange collection of the item from any address the customer requests and repair or replace the faulty part within a specified time period. (This will depend on the nature of the fault, stock levels and replacement parts availability). The item will be returned to you at no extra cost.
 
 
What if I need to cancel an order?
 
You have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after the order has been delivered if the products have been ordered through this website and are new products, in original packaging, that are unopened, unused and undamaged. Cancellations must be made in witting within 14 days to:

If you decide to cancel your order and the products are in transit they must be returned to us as soon as they are received. 
 
We will refund directly to the credit/ debit card used for payment within 30 days of the written cancellation notice and return of products.
 
Refunds will be excluding any postage or delivery costs and we suggest that returned products are sent Recorded Delivery as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in the post.
 
Returns under the 30 day money back guarantee must be agreed with Ravair Ltd so that the correct use of the unit is established. Returns must be made to Ravair Ltd at the address above and be undamaged and packed correctly.
